It is not neccessary that patrol members be sponsored only by Minnesota American Legion Posts and American Legion Auxiliary Units. Others who send youngsters to Legionville may be
service organizations such as PTSs, JCs, Kiwanis, Lions, Labor Organizations, or business firms, church organizations, individuals, villages or the like. Parents can also sponsor
their own children if those children will be patrols in the following school year.
The registrations fee is $225.00 per student and is paid by the sponsoring organization or parent.
We recommend that school authorities who are in charge of the local patrol program(s) select the Minnesota school patrol students who will be attending
Legionville School Safety Patrol Training Center. Those selected to attend camp should be leaders in their schools and excited about being involved in a week of training and camping fun.
