Legionville is a training center for school and school bus patrols. Quality instruction in the
correct school safety patrol methods is provided by Safety Education Officers of the Minnesota State Patrol. Our program has been recognized by the National Safety council as one of
the outstanding traffic safety promotion programs in the country.

2 special programs!
Patrol Campers and, for the first time, Alumni Campers
Patrol Campers - Legionville is a School Patrol Training Center which trains school
and school bus patrol students. Any students that are hoping to be or scheduled to be members of their school safety patrol program are eligible to attend as a Patrol
Camper. Legionville is a summer camp with a designated purpose. The program is not designed to serve as a reward for those who have already served with their patrol. Due
to the nature of our training and limited space, repeat campers are not allowed EXCEPT during alumni sessions.
Alumni Campers- This year we will, for the 1st time, be offering space for Alumni
campers. These are campers who have participated in a session at Legionville within the last 3 years. Alumni campers do not need to be working towards being a patrol in the
coming year. A special program has been designed for them that will incorporate Safety and Team Building skills.
Both Patrol Campers and Alumni Campers will be involved in each Session. However, a
minimum of 6 Alumni Campers will be needed per session or those Alumni Campers that have registered will be moved to other sessions.
